In 1998, Netscape released most of its code base for it popular Netscape Communicator browser suite under an open license. Around the same time, the Mozilla Organisation was formed, and they would later go on to release the first Mozilla Bowser, which would later surpass its predecessor Netscape in terms of features, stability and standards compliance. This development continued under the AOL banner until 2003, when it was passed over to the newly formed not-for profit Mozilla Foundation.
I have seen various people using Git on a daily basis from design agencies to software houses, all in slightly different ways. There are many reasons for using Git or even other version control systems especially where there are two or more people collaborating on any one project at the same time.
As I have a few moments I thought I would share some of my experiences of running PHP as a Fast CGI script as oppossed to an Apache module. Some of you might be wondering why would I want to do that? Well....
